Michael Larocca is a Managing Director at Johnson Elborne, leading the firm’s expansion across the United States.

Michael brings extensive experience in commodities executive search, having worked closely with trading houses, hedge funds, utilities, and financial institutions across energy, metals, agriculture, and environmental markets. Prior to joining Johnson Elborne, Michael has led senior commodities mandates across search roles in New York, Houston, and Singapore.

Before moving into executive search, he began his career on the trading floor, holding trading assistant roles at Morgan Stanley, MUFG Securities, and BNY Mellon. This front office exposure underpins his strong understanding of trading environments.

Based in the United States, Michael works closely with Johnson Elborne’s global leadership team to strengthen relationships with US based clients and candidates, playing a central role in the firm’s long term international growth strategy.
