Tim Elborne is Co-Founder of Johnson Elborne, bringing over a decade of experience in executive search combined with a strong background in entrepreneurship. Since 2010, he has built a reputation for securing top-tier front-office professionals across trading, sales, and structuring within investment banks, hedge funds, and trading firms, covering a broad range of asset classes.
In 2014, Tim co-managed a retail start-up, successfully establishing and growing the business before returning to executive search in 2018 to launch Johnson Elborne alongside George Johnson. Since then, he has leveraged his market knowledge and international network to partner with leading firms worldwide. His ability to connect high-calibre talent with the right opportunities has established him as a trusted advisor to clients navigating recruitment complexities in global commodities markets.
Tim holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Leeds. Based just outside London, he enjoys time with family and friends and is always in search of new culinary experiences and world-class golf courses.
